Mallory won the ESPY!

This story just keeps getting better and better. A couple weeks ago, Mallory’s mom sent everyone an email to let us know that Mallory had been nominated for an ESPY award for “Best Moment”, and asked us to vote for her. I thought it would be a pretty big long-shot, since she was up against Danica Patrick’s first win, and Jon Lester’s No-Hitter/comeback from cancer.
We found out on Friday that Mallory had won - she was down in LA for the filming, while the rest of the family was in Cascade, ID for Grandpa Matt’s 90th birthday party. Mallory showed up Saturday afternoon, complete with ESPY trophy in hand, making for an extra-fun birthday celebration.
Congrads again to Mallory and Sarah….
